This most certainly is one line of work you could consider, but yet again, like lot of work from home jobs there's a few points to consider and here are just 5 of them:

• There are many programmes out there that will offer you data inputting work which they make to sound appealing.The truth is , like most work at home opportunities, the people that sell you such information can be a bit economical with the truth. I wont deny that there are such jobs out there and you do get paid for the work you do, but what you actually get paid by the hour is barely just above the minimum wage. Once again, you need to do your research to find what each company offers and expects from you.
• Data entry work is tedious and very time consuming. I only tried it once about 12 months ago but found it too mind numbing. I earned very little and would have to say the only thing in its favor is that it does fit the description of being a stay at home way to make money. At best I would say it's a way of making pin money rather than a living unless you intend to put in quite a few hours at it.
• You shouldn't have to pay up to most on line programmes to get you the work, unless they explain clearly what they are offering as part of the price. i.e do they have the job already soughted for you. And if you haven't done such work before, will they give you guidance or information on what you have to do. Find out before hand exactly how you much you get paid and whether it's by the hour or piece work.
• Data entry Jobs can be found advertised in your local newspaper, and by looking into the job site sections on line. I actually got my data entry work from a company which advertised in my local newspaper. I didn't have to pay them anything as it was they who were looking for workers.
• Be prepared to put in a lot of your time as well as the discipline that will be needed to cope with the repetition.

In short, data entry inputting is a viable to way to make money, however, there are other ways out that can be more lucrative and not so tedious.
