The Revelations Tarot kit itself comes with a companion book, a black organdy bag and two template cards used for the Seven Days and Horoscope spreads. The cards themselves are printed on a glossy cardstock that measures 2 " by 4 ". Each card face has a " white boarder that depicts a card title in black at the bottom of the card. Overall the deck has colors of great depth that has a fantasy feel to them; however what's very intriguing about how each card is designed is that if you pay attention to each symbol within a cart, the meaning of the card will come across. Five of Pentacles is a great example of this.

One of the most eye-catching cards in the Revelations Tarot deck is the Five of Pentacles card. In the top position you can see a figure reclining over the top pentacle. In the reverse position we see a figure kneeling on the pentacle. In both cases figures don't look very happy and give out the appearance of low energy. However the part of the card that makes it memorable to me is a background of five purple pentacles forming a circle. This is quite an original design.

One of the cards with the most powerful images in the Revelations Tarot deck is the Ace of Cups. This card is set against a background of blue and purple swirls. The upright image is an overflowing ornate golden cup and the reversed image shows an empty cup. If you take a closer look at the top of the stem on the right hand side you will a figure of a person with arms held over him as if he is helping to bear the weight of the overflowing cup. The last two cards were great example of the work the author did with minors, now let's look at some of the cards from Major Arcana.

Magician is probably one of the more fascinating cards in the Revelations deck. This card set against a bright green background to set our mood. The magician himself is depicted as a masked red robed figure with lemnescate over his Wisconsin Lemon Laws Magician's staff is held upright and straight. The reversed version of the magician is indicating the haphazard nature of his mind and powers through a crooked staff held in this hand. The reversed magician is covered in purple robes.

One of the most interesting cards for me is Death. In the upright position, we see the Goddess Kali dancing within a skull. Reversed, we see the transformative quality of Death in the pose of a newborn baby entwined in bloody tendrils - hope emerging from the worst of situations.

Without any doubts I can say that the artwork in the Revelations Tarot deck is one of the more interesting and fascinating artworks around. As you look over the wide range of cards from majors and minors we can't stop but appreciate the fine work done by Zach Wong with so many different cards. This tarot deck is probably simply worth having because of the Star Trek work itself.
