10 Ways To Save Money On Your Gas Bill!

With today's rising Mystery Date prices, saving gas is on everybody's mind. So I've compiled a list of 10 ways that we can improve our gas miles per tank by simply changing the way we drive. Simply changing our habits can save us quite a bit in the long haul!

1. Contrary to popular belief you don't online van insurance to warm up your engine before taking off even on cold days. 6. Always buy gas at the pump at the coolest time of the day (early in the morning or late evening is best). During these times gasoline is the densest and since we pay for gasoline by volume rather than density you're actually getting more than what you pay than at other times of the day!

These stations probably sell a higher quality gasoline than the others and therefore give you higher miles per gallon than the stations that give you a lesser quality.

10. Those of you who drive cars with manual transmissions can shift gear to the highest gear possible, as soon as possible. This will save you gas as you nurse the car along. Be careful not to "bog down" the engine as this will cause premature wear and tear on the engine.

Armed with these 10 tips we should be able to improve your gas mileage by 5 to 10%! Not bad for just changing a few bad habits!
